In addition to the Regents Center for Learning Disorders and the Emory Psychological Center, some psychologists in private practice in the Atlanta area provide psychoeducational assessment services. The typical cost for an assessment by a psychologist in private practice is over $1000. Check with your insurance company to see if they cover some of the cost of testing (for example, some insurance companies may pay 80% of the cost after the deductible).
